Costa Rica Bound

Ireland Dunn and Hailey Skolmoski are all set to travel to Costa Rica February 14th with the Region IV team for a series of International matches. Both girls are excited for the opportunity to represent their country in such a unique manner. We will update you all with the trip details and results as they become available.

Fifteen days later both girls found themselves representing Region IV in the girls National Training Camp held in Phoenix, Arizona.Ireland and Hailey have both found themselves on a similar path in a whirlwind start to 2013. Both have been recognized as top 50 players in the country on the topdrawersoccer.com IMG top 150, Ireland as the#12 Midfielder in the 2016 class & Hailey as the #19 Forward in the 2015 class. In early January both attended the Region IV ODP Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada representing Utah very well in their respective age groups. Ireland Came away with All tournament honors playing as both a mid and forward with Utah’s 98s. Meanwhile, Hailey stood out as the captain of the Utah 97s while filling every critical role throughout the weekend.

Now that they have returned to training with the club for a few days we watch them head out again for this international trip.

Utah Avalanche is proud of these girls as they continue to represent us well in the spotlight on what seems like a weekly basis.

ECNL note -

With the snow still standing over a foot deep on our training grounds the club prepares to start the heart of the ECNL season by training indoors. We’ll kick things off with a trip to Dallas, February 22-24 for an ECNL National Showcase. All games will be played at the beautiful Complex Fields at FC Dallas Stadium
